To Our Communities
It is both an honor and privilege to serve as President and CEO of the Ohio Valley Health Services and Education Corporation at such a rejuvenating time for healthcare at Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital.
The people of this great Ohio Valley deserve the finest in quality and affordable healthcare administered by some of the nation’s top professionals utilizing ultra-modern equipment and technology.
Equally exciting, is our recent announcement of an affiliation agreement with The Ohio State University Wexner Medical Center. This historic agreement has Ohio Valley Medical Center and East Ohio Regional Hospital standing at the cusp of healthcare excellence. What began as small community hospitals in 1890 and 1906 has transcended into two of the finest hospitals serving you, the citizens of the Ohio Valley.
Moving Healthcare Forward is an initiative to improve our facilities, continue the purchasing of state-of-the-art equipment and provide our ever-expanding team of national caliber physicians and nurses with all the necessary tools to solidify OVMC/EORH as the leader in healthcare in the Ohio Valley.
This Capital Campaign is designed to help us meet our responsibility and face the challenge of helping a changing population meet its increasing healthcare needs.
We are grateful to the visionaries who over 100 years ago saw the need for community hospitals and established two of the finest healthcare facilities in West Virginia, Ohio and the region. Additionally, we would be remiss if we didn’t remember those who saw the opportunity to further enhance the Ohio Valley’s healthcare services by joining these two healthcare facilities, giving the community the premier medical center in this region.
We are community hospitals created to provide quality, compassionate and state-of-the-art, family-centered healthcare to the wonderful residents of our area, and now we are asking your help to make improvements for your future, the future of our children, grandchildren and, most importantly, our increasing elderly population. Please consider playing an active philanthropic role by investing in our hospitals.
Consider your commitment to Moving Healthcare Forward. We need community members like you who care about OVMC/EORH.
Thank you in advance for your consideration. You have our sincerest promise that OVMC/EORH will continue its mission to provide the citizens of our communities the best possible healthcare available now and in the future.
